Heavy rain and thundershowers expected on Tuesday

WINDHOEK, 03 FEB (NAMPA) - Heavy rain and thundershowers are expected over the central-east and north-eastern parts of the country on Tuesday.
The Namibia Meteorological Service (NMS) said further in a media statement on Monday that hot to very hot temperatures are expected over the south-eastern parts of the country.
The weather at the coast is expected to be cloudy and cool with morning fog patches.
The wind at the coast is expected to be moderate south-westerly to southerly in the south.
High tides are expected at Walvis Bay at 06h39 and 19h15, and a low tide at 12h34.
The highest temperatures are expected at Noordoewer with 38 degrees Celsius, Sesfontein and Keetmanshoop with 37 degrees Celsius each, and Karasburg with 36 degrees Celsius.
Sunrise in Windhoek is expected at 06h34, and sunset at 19h37.
