KSSR football finals slated for Thursday

WINDHOEK, 17 SEP (NAMPA) – The 2019 football season of the Khomas School Sport Region (KSSR) league will be concluded on Thursday at the Namibia Football Association (NFA) Technical Centre in the capital.
KSSR vice chairperson, Bertus Bock on Tuesday confirmed to Nampa that the quarter-finals and semi-finals are played on Tuesday to determine which teams will make it to the finals, while the finals are slated for Thursday at 14h30.
On Tuesday Mountview takes on A Shipena Secondary School while Jan Jonker Afrikaner faces Acacia High School in the semi-finals.
Meanwhile, Jacob Marengo is set against Chairman, while Windhoek Technical School will play against Amazing Kids at their respective schools to determine the finalists.
He said the winners will walk away with different prizes such as trophies, medals and vouchers amongst others.
The KSSR league allows schools in the Khomas Region to compete against each other in football, netball, rugby, volleyball and basketball in the different age categories.
