In the women’s semi-final encounters, current champions, Revivals VC, Khomas NamPol VC, Happy Du VC and Deutscher Turn und Sportverein (DTS) will contest for a place in the final.
According to a statement issued to Nampa on Wednesday, the semi-final matches are scheduled to take place between 28 and 29 September.
In the statement, NVF President, Hillary Imbuwa, thanked the Bank Windhoek for being the main sponsor of the volleyball federation.
“Without your generous support over the years, our national events would not have been successful. We now look forward to hosting the Bank Windhoek NVF Cup finals in the coast,” said Imbuwa.
Imbuwa further added that the 2019 Bank Windhoek (NVF) Cup has produced an exciting season, with more teams competing nationwide.
Bank Windhoek’s Public Relations Manager, André le Roux, expressed gratitude towards the organisers for managing the tournaments countrywide and developing the growth of the sport year-on-year.
He further congratulated all the teams competing in the upcoming semi-finals.
“May the best teams win,” Le Roux concluded.
