Decomposed body found at Samahiho identified

RUNDU, 06 AUG (NAMPA) - The decomposed body of an unknown man discovered by a cattle herder at Samahiho village in the Kavango East Region on Saturday, has been identified as that of 78-year-old Immanuel Elenestu.
The Namibian Police Force (NamPol)s Head of Forensic Pathology, Detective Inspector Gottfried Maritsane told Nampa on Tuesday the body was identified by family members on Sunday at the Rundu Police Mortuary.
According to the Maritsane, Elenestu went to the hospital for a follow-up and never came home thereafter.
His family said he had been missing for close to a month.
