Three swimmers to represent Namibia at FINA World Championships

WINDHOEK, 11 JUL (NAMPA) – Three Namibian swimmers, Alexander Skinner, Ronan Wantenaar and Phillip Seidler, will represent Namibia at the 18th International Swimming Federation (FINA) World Championships slated for Gwangju, South Korea between 12 and 28 July.
In a media statement issued on Wednesday by Namibia Swimming Union executive committee member, Nicky McNamara, Skinner will compete in the 100 metre (m) freestyle and 50m freestyle.
Wantenaar will compete in the 100m breaststroke and 200m individual medley and Seidler is expected to compete in the 10 kilometre Open water swim.
McNamara said the swimmers will be accompanied by their coaches Ryan Skinner, Ronan Wantenaar and Helmut Seidler, with Sonja Skinner joining as the team’s manager.
