WINDHOEK, 10 JUL (NAMPA) – FlyWestair on Wednesday launched a new route between Windhoek and Ondangwa, with flights scheduled to depart between the Eros and Ondangwa airports twice a day, four times a week.
In a media statement issued on Wednesday, Westair Aviation announced that they have launched the second local route after Windhoek and Oranjemund, after they were granted a designated carrier status by Namibian Transport Commission earlier this year.
FlyWestair is Westair Aviation’s passenger airline.
“This accreditation makes Westair Aviation an official scheduled passenger airline, with flights to various destinations within the country and the sub region, under the brand name FlyWestair,” the statement reads.
The Windhoek to Ondangwa route is scheduled for every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday
The aviation company added that it plans to launch routes to Cape Town (via Oranjemund and Windhoek), Walvis Bay and Johannesburg by as early as August 2019.
