Gambling machines stolen in Windhoek

WINDHOEK, 21 JUN (NAMPA) – Five gambling machines were allegedly stolen by unknown suspects in Windhoek's Havana settlement between 08h00 and 09h00 on Thursday.
City Police Public Relations Officer, Marx Hipandwa, told Nampa on Friday that the stolen gambling machines are at a value of N.dollars 78 000.
He cautioned the public that there is a syndicate allegedly stealing gambling machines, further urging members of the public not to buy stolen gambling machines.
He is further appealing to members of public to report people selling such machines on the streets.
“One suspect was arrested in the area of Otjomuise and is now in custody for questioning, ” said Hipandwa.
Police investigations continue.
