Man succumbs to stab wound at Okahandja

OTJIWARONGO, 10 JUN (NAMPA) - A 45-year-old man succumbed to a single stab wound on his neck at the Ehafo Camp informal settlement at Okahandja Saturday night.
The Namibian Police Force’s Otjozondjupa Regional crime investigations coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Naukalemo Andreas told Nampa on Monday the man’s name is known to the police, but could not be revealed as his relatives were yet to be informed.
Andreas said the deceased was found around 21h00 on Saturday lying on the ground at a bar in Okahandja with a stab wound in the neck. He died shortly thereafter.
“He was stabbed by an unknown suspect,” she said, adding that the police at the town are still busy investigating the cause of the attack on the man, and who stabbed him.
