The Namibian Police Force’s Kavango West Region Crime Investigations Coordinator, Deputy Commissioner, Rudolf Nbumba told Nampa on Thursday that the decomposed body was discovered by community members of Epingiro village situated along the Rundu-Grootfontein road, about 68 kilometres from Rundu.

Mbumba said the two community members, accompanied by dogs, went into the Mbeyo Community Forest around at around 07h00 in search for their stray cattle when they discovered the remains.

He said at the scene, the police officers observed that the body is that of a male adult person who was wearing a blue cap, blue jacket jeans written Red Bat, Adidas black short with an old Red Bat watch.

Mbumba noted that the deceased was found lying down on his back under a tree where he was resting his head on his blue Nike trainers.
