Four babies born at Windhoek hospitals on New Year's Day

WINDHOEK, 01 JAN (NAMPA) – Four babies were born at hospitals in Windhoek by midday on New Year’s Day.
The Windhoek Central Hospital recorded three births. All three babies were boys, and they were born at 01h55, 05h58 and 10h21 respectively.
Sister Jacky Kazimbu told Nampa on Wednesday afternoon that one of the babies was delivered via caesarean section.
Kazimbu said all babies and their mothers were doing fine.
“We are expecting to receive two more babies before the end of the day,” she said.
A baby girl was born at the Rhino Park Private Hospital at around 09h00 on Wednesday.
She weighed 3,6 kilogrammes.
No births were recorded at Medi Clinic.
This news agency attempted to get information on babies born at the Katutura State Hospital, but calls to the hospital went unanswered.
