Transport arranged for Kauluma’s burial

WINDHOEK, 10 APR (NAMPA) – There will be bus transportation provided for the memorial and funeral services of the late Omukwaniilwa (king) Immanuel Kauluma Elifas, the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology announced.
Elifas died aged 86 at the Onandjokwe Lutheran Hospital on 26 March 2019 and was accorded a State funeral. He will be buried at the royal family cemetery at Olukonda village near the palace on 13 April.
There will be four buses for the memorial service on Friday and the pick-ups will start at 09h00.
The first bus will start at Okankolo centre then head to Shimbombela, Onayena and Onathinge.
The route for the second bus is Onyati, Onankali, Engoyi and Onyaanya service station.
Bus three will drive from Oshigambo to Ekango Lyakahani junction and the Oniipa Constituency office.
Bus four will start at Adolf junction to Okapya, the Kapana service station and Onethindi.
On Saturday for the funeral service, there will be seven buses that will start pick-ups at 04h00.
The buses for the first four stops will be the same as the memorial with three additional routes. These include one from the Tsumeb Constituency office and transport from Oshivelo, Casablanca, King Kauluma and Omuhama Gwepandela.
The last bus will drive from Omutsegwonime through Omuthiya Gwiipundu and Oshifukwa.
