WINDHOEK, 08 APR (NAMPA) – The Namibian Police Force (NamPol) on Monday appealed for help in tracing four men who went missing in Grootfontein in September 2017.
Siegfried Uirab, 39; Rodney Willemse, 25; Fanny Naibeb, 23; and the 23-year-old Gerson Willemse were waiting to picked up by an employer at the Shell Service Station when they went missing on 08 September, the Head of NamPol’s public relations division, deputy commissioner Edwin Kanguatjivi said in a statement.
All of their cellphones initally went unanswered and were later off when attempts were made to call them.
“The employer who was supposed to pick them up told family members and police officers he never picked them up or saw them,” Kanguatjivi said.
The police have asked that anyone with information on the missing persons contact Otjozondjupa police regional crime coordinator deputy commissioner Andreas at 0812131755, or go to the nearest police station.
