Harder’s Cup semi-final line-up complete

LÜDERITZ, 30 MAR (NAMPA) – The semi-final line-up of the 2019 Harders Cup has been completed, with Pescanova NovaNam set to face Atlanta Bucs, while Young Ones will face Rush Ups.
The tournament started at the Lüderitz Football Stadium Saturday morning and will end Sunday.
The first quarter-final match saw Atlanta Bucs overcome Diamond City by a 3-1 scoreline.
Pescanova won their quarter-final match by an identical scoreline in the second match of the day over Man United.
Former winners Young Ones then accounted for their local derby rivals Atlanta Bucs by 3-0, with former Brave Warriors and Civics striker Eusebio Fredericks scoring two goals, one of them a beautiful free kick.
The final quarter-final match of the day saw Rush Ups account for invitational Aus United by 3-0 to set up a meeting with Young Ones.
Pescanova has played in two successive finals, and both times they have failed to come out winners.
A total of 14 goals were scored in the quarter-finals, with more goals expected in the two semi-finals and the final.
The matches are being played under beautiful weather conditions with the crowd seemingly enjoying the quality of the football on display.
The winners are guaranteed N.dollars 100 000, while the runner-up will receive N.dollars 50 000 and third-placed team, N.dollars 20 000.
The top goal scorer will walk away with N.dollars 10 000.
The semi-final matches are continuing Saturday afternoon.
