This is the first horse racing competition for the year and the horses have rested for long. We are known for hosting colourful events and the number of horses participating in this event is evidence of that, Mumbango said.

This years competition also attracted young horses like Celtic Rose and Market Marvel from the Mumbango family and Kautji Karamata.
These horses are young and were recently introduced, they look promising. They are adding to the development of this sport, Mumbango said.
Last years main races were won by Icon, Professor, Tate-omukuendata and Heart-flower.
