Advances to customers boost LHN revenue for 2018

WINDHOEK, 05 MAR (NAMPA) – Letshego Holdings Namibia (LHN) reported an 11 per cent increase in total revenue, backed by a growth in advances to customers for the financial year ended 31 December 2018.
The group announced on the Namibia Stock Exchange (NSX) on Tuesday that its total revenue increased in its 2018 condensed consolidated financial results.
Advances to customers increased by six per cent from N.dollars 563 375 000 in the 2017 financial year to N.dollars 596 693 000 last year.
Headline earnings per share also increased by 22 per cent from 72 cents per share in 2017 compared to those recorded in the 2018 results.
The company also declared and paid a dividend of N.dollars 96 million to its ordinary shareholders during the year under review, a decline from N.dollars 113 million in 2017.
The company opened its doors in 2002 as Edu Loan Namibia, providing consumer and micro-lending services.
