WINDHOEK, 28 FEB (NAMPA) – Lukas Ndafoluma will fight for the World Boxing Organisation Super Middleweight International Title against Aidos Yerbossynuly in Kazakhstan on 24 March.
This was announced by the general manager of MTC Salute Boxing Academy Armas Shivute, who said this will be a big opportunity for the Namibian boxer to display his skills.
“The Demolisher (as Ndafoluma is known to his fans) is not only one of the best middleweight boxers in Namibia, but in Africa. You can give him any challenge right now and trust me, he will come up tops. Other promoters have started noticing his potential,” Shivute said.
He added that this is an exciting fight for Ndafoluma and for Salute Boxing Academy as this proves that hard work and patience pay.
The fight will be a 10-rounder and Yerbossynuly has an impressive record of 10 fights, 10 wins and eight of those coming via knockout.
“His record speaks for itself. Eight knockouts show his power. Ndafoluma is busy preparing as we speak, and I am sure he will deliver,” Shivute added.
On his part, the current World Boxing Federation Africa Champion said he was looking forward to the fight and expects a tough fight.
“I have watched a few of his fights and he is technical guy. I aim to handle him and spoil his show. I have fought in Europe before, so I know I will not struggle. Preparations are going well as I was informed about this fight some time ago,” he explained.
Ndafoluma has 17 fights under his belt, winning 15 (six via knockouts) and losing one.
