Four people injured in accident outside Nkurenkuru

RUNDU, 24 FEB (NAMPA) – Four people were seriously injured on Friday after a vehicle they were traveling in overturned outside Nkurenkuru, the police said on Sunday.
Namibian Police Kavango West crime investigations coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Rudolf Mbumba said the incident happened on the gravel road between Nkurenkuru and Nepara at Maporeza village.
It is alleged that the 28-year-old driver was steering the vehicle from Nkurenkuru to Maporeza when the left back tyre got punctured.
The driver lost control, causing the vehicle to overturn and all four occupants in the car sustained serious injuries, Mbumba said.
The passengers aged between 32 and 66 and the driver were all rushed to the Rundu State Hospital.
