OTC and NCCI sign partnership MoU

KEETMANSHOOP, 24 FEB (NAMPA) – The Oranjemund Town Council (OTC) and Namibia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NCCI) on Thursday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen partnership between the two entities.
A media statement issued by the OTC on Friday said the MoU was signed for the two entities to work together for the benefit of the town and its residents.
“To encourage and promote smart partnership between public and private sector investments for the benefit of the local economy, and business development,” the statement said, explaining the purpose of the MoU.
It said the major aim of the agreement is to promote and create an enabling environment for the sustainable growth of the town and the wider business community.
The signing of the MoU was witnessed by Oranjemund Constituency Regional Councillor, Lazarus Nangolo, Oranjemund Mayor, Henry Coetzee, local authority councillors and executive committee members of the NCCI Oranjemund branch, as well as local business owners.
