RUNDU, 21 FEB (NAMPA) – A 40-year-old woman at Rundu was allegedly robbed of her motor vehicle, a Toyota Fortuner, at gunpoint on Saturday.
The incident happened at her residence at Rainbow Village at around 01h00.
Namibian Police Force (NamPol) regional crime investigations coordinator, Bonifatius Kanyetu on Thursday told Nampa three men allegedly carried out the robbery.
The victim, he explained, had just parked her car and was heading to close the gate of her house when she realised three men had already entered her premises.
They allegedly pointed guns at her, demanding that she give them her car keys.
Meanwhile, the stolen vehicle was involved in an accident and was found in Angola on Tuesday.
Kanyetu said NamPol, together with the police in Angola, are still in search of the suspects.
