Man stabbed to death at Keetmanshoop

KEETMANSHOOP, 14 FEB (NAMPA) – A 34-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stabbing and killing a 45-year-old man in Keetmanshoop on Wednesday.
Namibian Police Force crime investigations coordinator for //Kharas, Deputy Commissioner Chrispin Mubebo told Nampa on Thursday that the deceased was identified as Joseph Johannes.
“It is alleged that the suspect stabbed the victim on the neck with a butcher knife and the victim died instantly,” Mubebo said.
The incident happened between 21h00 and 22h00 at a cuca shop in the Extension 7 informal settlement area, he added.
The next of kin of the deceased have been informed and police investigations continue.
