Kauluma to be buried at Ongula yaNetanga

ONGWEDIVA, 12 FEB (NAMPA) – Former chairperson of Ondonga Traditional Council and Senior Councillor for Ondonga Traditional Authority (OTA)’ Ongula yaNetanga District, Peter Shimweefeleni Kauluma will be buried at his home village this Saturday.
His former colleague, Joseph Asino announced in a media statement issued on Tuesday that Kauluma’s funeral will be presided by a memorial service to be held at his homestead at Ongula yaNetanga village in the Ohangwena Region on Friday.
Kauluma, 82, died on Monday at a private hospital in Windhoek, where he was admitted due to ill-health last week.
Asino stated Kauluma served the OTA for the past 37 years.
He is described as a long-serving aid of Omukwaniilwa (King) Immanuel Kauluma Elifas of Ondonga.
Elifas relieved Kauluma of his duties along with six other Ondonga traditional councillors in July 2017.
