Tura Derby pick of the crop in weekend fixtures

REHOBOTH, 23 JAN (NAMPA) – The Namibia Premier League fixtures will see matches played in Windhoek, Walvis Bay, Karasburg and Otjiwarongo this week, with the standout fixture being the ‘Tura Derby’ between Orlando Pirates and Black Africa on Sunday.
The midweek game will see Tigers face University of Namibia (UNAM) Football Club at Windhoek’s Sam Nujoma Stadium at 20h00 on Wednesday.
On Thursday at the same venue, Tura Magic will face Civics at 20h00, while on Friday at Kuisebmond Stadium in Walvis Bay, Eleven Arrows will battle Citizens at 19h00.
New Blue Waters coach Christy ||Guruseb will try and steer his team out of troubled waters against high flying Julinho Sporting at 21h00.
The matches will continue on Saturday with Life Fighters facing Tigers at the Mokati Stadium in Otjiwarongo at 16h00.
In Karasburg, home team Young Brazilians will count on their home support to make things difficult for African Stars in a match scheduled for 16h00 at the Karasburg Combined School Stadium.
Sam Nujoma Stadium will see two matches on Saturday, with UNAM confronting Young African at 14h00, followed by the ‘Tura Derby’ between struggling giants Orlando Pirates facing top of the log old foes Black Africa at 18h00.
On Sunday at the Kuisebmond Stadium, Eleven Arrows will come up against Julinho Sporting at 13h00, while Mighty Gunners and Okahandja United will close off the weekend fixtures at the Mokati Stadium at 15h00.
