OTJIWARONGO, 07 JAN (NAMPA) - A 67-year-old man has been missing from Farm Naome in the Otavi district since 09 December 2018.
Josef Ndishishi allegedly left the farm in the early morning hours that day and never returned.
The Namibian Police Force’s Regional Crime Investigations Coordinator for Otjozondjupa, Deputy Commissioner Naukalemo Andreas told Nampa on Monday Ndishishi was last seen in Otavi’s Blikkiesdorp informal settlement on 10 December.
“He is tall and was wearing black trousers, black shoes, a black shirt and a white cowboy hat,” said Andreas.
Attempts have been made to call his cellphone, but it is switched off.
The matter was only reported to the Otavi Police Station on 03 January 2019.
Andreas called on members of the public with information, or Ndishishi himself, to contact the nearest police station or his relatives.
Police investigations continue.
