Burglars get away with household items

WINDHOEK, 03 JAN (NAMPA) - An unknown number of burglars broke into a Windhoek residence and got away with household items on Wednesday, the City Police have reported.
They cut the padlock of the gate, forced open a window and cut through the burglar bars to gain entry into the house around 00h25, the police said in a crime report issued Thursday.
“Four fridges, two television sets, two beds and some clothing was stolen,” said the report.
Meanwhile in a case of domestic violence in Khomasdal, a woman is said to have physically assaulted her husband, biting him in the face before inflicting physical harm on herself on Tuesday.
The incident occurred around 22h00.
After allegedly assaulting her husband, the woman reportedly cut her arm and face with a broken glass bottle.
No charges were pressed.
