Businessman dies in accident near Otjiwarongo

OTJIWARONGO, 11 DEC (NAMPA) - A 45-year-old businessman died when his pick-up overturned on the gravel road between Otjiwarongo and the Queen Sofia Government Resettlement Farm on Sunday.
The spokesperson of the Namibian Police Force (NamPol) in the Otjozondjupa Region, Warrant Officer Maureen Mbeha told Nampa on Monday the deceased has been identified as Martin Kameka.
She said the accident occurred approximately 30 kilometres northwest of Otjiwarongo and the vehicle rolled three times.
“He was a local businessman who operated in the Erindi Business Complex,” said Mbeha.
Kameka, who was traveling with his 39-year-old sister, died instantly.
The woman survived the accident with slight injuries.
Police investigations continue.
