Skorpion Zinc NFA Women's Super League concludes first leg

REHOBOTH, 26 NOV (NAMPA) – The first leg of the Skorpion Zinc Namibian Football Association (NFA) Women’s Super League concluded over the weekend, with Tura Magic ending top of the log with 25 points after nine matches played.
In the results provided by the Women’s Football Desk on Monday, Tura Magic defeated Girls Football Academy 7-0 in a match played on Thursday at the NFA Technical Centre. Anna Marie Shikusho scored a hat trick, with Lovisa Mulunga, Ivonne Kooper, Milicent Hikuam and Beyonce Cloete each scoring a goal each.
The University of Namibia (UNAM) Bokkies, meanwhile, defeated Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) Babes 7-2 at the UNAM Field in a match also played on Thursday.
On Saturday at the NFA Technical Centre, Khomas Namibian Police (NamPol) defeated NUST Babes 2-0, while Right Way defeated Omaheke Queens 4-0.
In matches played on Sunday at the same venue, Galz & Goals inflicted a 4-1 defeat on Namib Daughters, while Tura Magic scored eight goals without reply against Omaheke Queens, with VPower Angels winning 2-0 against Right Way to keep pace with Tura Magic.
In another match played at the UNAM Field, Khomas NamPol defeated UNAM Bokkies 4-0.
After nine rounds, Tura Magic leads the log with 25 points, followed by Khomas NamPol in second with 23 points.
VPower Angels are in third place with 22 points, while fourth spot is occupied by Galz & Goals with 16 points. Namib Daughters are in fifth with 13 points, with Right Way coming in sixth place with nine points.
Girls Football Academy are in seventh place with eight points, while UNAM Bokkies are in eighth with five points.
NUST Babes occupy the ninth spot four points, with Omaheke Queens dwelling in the basement on 10th with two points.
A total of 207 goals were scored with Tura Magic scoring the most goals (54) and Girls Football Academy having scored the least (seven).
