Tura Magic thump Namib Daughters 9-0, top women's league log

REHOBOTH, 11 NOV (NAMPA) – A total of 29 goals were scored in Round 6 of the Skorpion Zinc Women’s Super League on Saturday, with Khomas Namibian Police (NamPol) winning 13-1 against Omaheke Queens at Legare Stadium in Gobabis.
In matches played in Windhoek at the Namibia Football Association (NFA) Technical Centre in Katutura, Girls Football Academy and Rightway Ladies Football Club played out a 1-all draw with the former’s Vipua Tjingaete voted player of the match. The goal scorers were Tjingaete and Veronica April for Rightway.
In another match at the same venue, VPower Angels defeated Namibian University of Science and Technology (NUST) Babes 2-0 with goals from Lydia Naluno and Fiola Vliete, while Ndamona Namweelele was voted player of the match.
At the University of Namibia (UNAM) Field in Windhoek, UNAM Bokkies drew 1-all with Galz & Goals.
At Vineta Stadium in Swakopmund, Tura Magic annihilated Namib Daughters 9-0, with national team player, Thomalina Adams picking up the player of the match award.
Tura Magic leads the log with 16 points, followed by VPower Angels also with 16 points in second place, but with an inferior goal difference.
Khomas NamPol come in third with 14 points and Namib Daughters fourth with 10 points. Galz & Goals are in fifth spot with 7 points, followed by Rightway Ladies in sixth spot with 6 points.
Girls Football Academy are seventh with 5 points, while the eighth spot is occupied by NUST Babes with 4 points. UNAM Bokkies are in ninth spot with 2 points, but with a better goal difference to 10th placed Omaheke Queens, also on 2 points.
