Brave Warriors starting 11 against Mozambique named

WINDHOEK, 16 OCT (NAMPA) – Brave Warriors head coach Ricardo Mannetti has named his starting 11 for his team’s match against Mozambique for the return leg of the 2019 African Nations Cup (Afcon) qualifiers.
Namibia, who beat Mozambique 2-1 in Maputo on Saturday, will clash the Mamba’s at the Sam Nujoma stadium on Tuesday evening at 19h00.
Mannetti only made one change to his Saturday starting 11 as he dropped Benson Shilongo for Sadney Uri-Khob, who will be in the starting 11 this time around.
In goals, Virgil Vries got the nod, with Ananias Gebhardt, Teberius Lombard, Larry Horaeb, and Absalom Iimbondi in the defence.
Captain Ronald Ketjijere, Rian Hanamub, Petrus Shitembi and Willy Stephanus will make up the midfield, while Peter Shalulile and Uri-Khob will be the strike force in the starting line-up.
Namibia is currently third in Group K levelled on four points with Zambia and Mozambique. Guinea-Bissau are top of the group with seven points after beating Zambia 2-1 on Sunday.
The winner between Namibia and Mozambique will be level on seven points with Guinea-Bissau with two games to go before the finals in Cameroon next year.
