Man found hanging on a tree next to Okavango River identified

RUNDU, 08 OCT (NAMPA) – A man found hanging from a tree next to the Okavango River last week has been identified.
The Namibian Police Force’s crime investigations coordinator for the Kavango East Region, Deputy Commissioner Bonifasius Kanyetu told Nampa on Monday the deceased has been identified as Andreas Daniel Francois, 44, a resident of Pionierspark in Windhoek.
His next of kin have been informed of his death, said Kanyetu.
The deceased was found hanging from a tree after using his shoelaces to hang himself.
