Seychelles President Danny Faure arrives for SADC Summit

WINDHOEK, 16 AUG (NAMPA) - The President of Seychelles, Danny Faure was the first Head of State to arrive in Windhoek for the 38th Southern African Development Community (SADC) Summit on Thursday.
Faure was received by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah.
Other SADC member state leaders are also expected to arrive in the capital on Thursday for the two-day summit of Heads of State and Government, which takes place Friday and Saturday.
The summit takes place under the theme Promoting Infrastructure Development and Youth Empowerment for Sustainable Development.
