NWFD concludes this coming weekend

REHOBOTH, 15 AUG (NAMPA) – The North West First Division will conclude this weekend with matches scheduled to take place in Tsandi, Outjo, Oshikuku, Oshakati and Otavi.
Confirming the fixtures on Wednesday League Administrator, Lydia Hakandonga, said the final round of matches will conclude this coming weekend, after which the group winners will play out for the overall winner in a two legged play-off match to determine the team to be promoted to the Namibia Premier League.
She said the first leg of the play-off matches will be played on the 25 August, with the return leg set for 01 September.
On Saturday in Group A, sixth-placed Onambula United Football Club (FC) will face third-placed Eleven Warriors at the Tsandi Stadium at 15h00 in their quest to survive the dreaded relegation axe, while at the Oshikuku Stadium, fourth-placed Oshikuku Young Stars will battle fifth-placed Ongwediva City FC, also at 15h00.
In the only match of Group B on Saturday, log-leaders African Motto will face fourth-placed KK Palace at the Oshakati Stadium at 15h00.
Group A on Sunday will see Oshikuku Young Stars facing Eleven Warriors at 10h00 at the Oshikuku Stadium, while the battle for supremacy in the group will see a clash between second-placed Golden Bees and log-leaders Military School Soccer Club at the Etoshapoort Stadium in Outjo at 10h00.
In another Group A match, Onambula Unted FC will square off against Ongwediva City at the Tsandi Stadium at 10h00.
In Group B at Otavi Sports Stadium, former NPL campaigners Touch & Go, currently in third place, will take on fifth-placed African Lions in a must win match for both teams who are vying to avoid relegation.
In another match, second-placed University of Namibia (UNAM) Ogongo will face KK Palace at the UNAM Ogongo Stadium at 10h00.
