Chairperson for the Namibia Airports Company (NAC) Rodgers Kauta has officially resigned from his duties, permanent secretary in the ministry of works, Willem Goeiemann has confirmed.

Kauta’s surprising exit from NAC comes in the wake of the company’s former acting chief executive officer, Albertus Aochamub having left under unclear circumstances albeit other media linked it to differences in opinions over tenders.

Lot Haifidi has in the meantime taken over that position as acting Chief Executive Officer and strategic executive for corporate governance.

When contacted by The Villager, Public Enterprises Minister, Leon Jooste said he had heard of the latest development on Kauta but was yet to receive official communication.
