There is no doubt this game is the pick of this weekend’s MTC/Namibia Premier League (NPL) between two Rundu clubs that will go head to head for the first time in the top flight.
For the past 10 years or so, Rundu Chiefs have played second fiddle to United Stars during their time in the northern stream's first division that has seen Stars get promotion to the top flight on three occasions.
We expect a full-house come Saturday at the Rundu Sport Stadium at 16H00 and full security detail will be needed for this game.
Stars are currently a favourite for this match having won two games so far, including an important win of 1-0 some weeks ago against champions, Black Africa.
Chiefs, on the other hand, are the only side yet to win a game having lost four successive games but their 1-1 draw against Orlando Pirates last weekend might just boost that going into this match.
Stars are in eighth position with six points while Chiefs have only one point to their name, placing them at rock bottom of the log.
Orlando Pirates have Tigers next, having dropped two vital points away to Chiefs last weekend and they will come up against a marvellous Tigers' side that just won’t stop winning at the moment, having won all of their five opening games. Kickoff at 19H00 Sam Nujoma.
Former Arrows coach, Gerald Guther, who is now with Blue Boys takes his flying troops to Kuisebmund to worsen Arrows that are currently second bottom on the log. Kickoff at 16H00 Kuisebmund.
List of other MTC/NPL games:
