Foetus discovered in Donkerhoek riverbed

WINDHOEK, 25 JUL (NAMPA) - A decomposed foetus was discovered in a riverbed in the Donkerhoek residential area in Windhoek on Wednesday.
The foetus was found around 09h00.
According to members of the Namibian Police Force (NamPol) at the scene, the foetus appeared to be around seven months old.
NamPol’s Head of Media Relations, Chief Inspector Kauna Shikwambi said they are requesting the public, especially those living in the area, to assist them with the identification of the person suspected of dumping the foetus.
Police investigations into the matter continue.
