ALERT: Avid/SSC fraudsters sentenced

WINDHOEK, 05 JUL (NAMPA) – Three people found guilty in the disappearance of N.dollars 30 million from the Social Security Commission (SSC) were sentenced to each pay a fine of N.dollars 60 000 or three years' imprisonment.
The three are Paulus Kapia, Inez Gases and Ralph Blaauw.
Lawyer Sharon Blaauw was sentenced to a fine of N.dollars 8000 or three years imprisonment.
However, Windhoek businessman Nico Josea was sentenced to an effective 17 years' imprisonment.
High court judge, Christie Liebenberg, handed down the sentences Thursday morning. More to follow.
