NIPAM appoints new executive director

WINDHOEK, 05 JUL (NAMPA) – The Namibia Institute of Public Administration and Management (NIPAM) has appointed Maria Ndatiwelao Nangolo as its new Executive Director.
Nangolo’s appointment comes into effect on 01 August 2018 and is expected to last for a period of five years.
According to a media statement issued by the institute on Thursday, Nangolo is a seasoned leader and executive with over 18 years of experience in diverse sectors.
Nangolo is a PhD Trainee with the University of Stellenbosch and holder of a Master’s Degree in Business Administration Strategic Management from Maastricht School of Business Management. She obtained a postgraduate Diploma in Organisational Behaviour from the University of London and an Honour’s Degree in Social Work and Community Development from the University of Namibia.
NIPAM Governing Council Chairperson, George Simataa expressed “great confidence in Nangolo’s ability to drive the strategic intent and to lead NIPAM into the next business cycle”.
NIPAM was established by an Act of Parliament to transform the Namibian Public Service into an efficient, effective and accountable system through the provision of training and consultancy, among others.
