Namibia's squad for Pent Series announced

WINDHOEK, 05 JUN (NAMPA) – The senior national netball team has released the names of the players who will compete in the second edition of the Debmarine Namibia Pent Series that starts on Saturday.
The five-nation netball tournament will be hosted by Netball Namibia at the Israel Patrick Iyambo Police College in Windhoek.
The competition will see Namibia, Botswana, Uganda, Zambia and Zimbabwe battle it out for ranking points over five days. Zimbabwe won the Pent Series in its maiden edition in September 2017.
Namibia’s senior national netball team made its return to the International Netball Federation (INF) world rankings after competing at the 2017 Africa Senior National Netball Championship in Kampala, Uganda and is now ranked 36th out of the 41 countries ranked by the federation.
The squad of 12 players and two coaches who will represent the country are:
Defenders - Glynetthe Kazonganga, Cherlyn Muesee, Diana Tjejamba and Melissa Neis.
Midfielders - Uehengisa Tjozongoro, Delilah Keja, Zaja Uatjiua and Maria Shipulolo
Shooters - Anna Kaspar, Dorkas Tjipetekera, Vendjihonga Katjaimo and Eve Kamutushi
The coaches are:
Manuelle Tjivera (head coach), and Jatjinda Toetsie Tjihero (assistant coach).
