Three men arrested for attempted murder in Rehoboth

REHOBOTH, 17 APR (NAMPA) – Three men have been arrested after they allegedly attacked and stabbed a fourth man at Rehoboth on Monday.
The Namibian Police Force’s crime investigations coordinator for the Hardap Region, Deputy Commissioner Eric Clay told Nampa on Tuesday a case of attempted murder was reported to the police around 22h00.
He said the incident occurred in Block G.
“It is alleged that the victim was beaten with planks and stabbed with a knife. He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to the Windhoek Central Hospital for treatment,” Clay said.
The suspects aged 25, 28 and 30 years are due in court on Wednesday.
“In the meantime, we are investigating to determine the cause of the assault as no information was given by the victim,” Clay said.
