Our biggest weapon is that we are unknown: Augustinus

WINDHOEK, 17 APR (NAMPA) – Once Again Football Club have promised fireworks when they meet Civics in Round 16 of the Debmarine Namibia Cup that will be held in Windhoek at the Sam Nujoma Stadium.
The Debmarine Namibia Cup Round of 16 will be played in Windhoek and Walvis Bay, with the winners of that round qualifying for the quarter-finals.
Once Again, the Kavango East Second Division (KESD) outfit based five kilometres north-east of Rundu in the Sauyema informal settlement, won the Kavango East Debmarine Namibia Cup Second Division preliminary round.
They reached the Round of 32 after beating Aren Tops 4-1, Special Eleven 4-2 and UNAM Rundu Campus 2-1 in the regional play-off tournament. In the Round of 32 the Kavango East outfit got a through pass after their opponents Rhino FC withdrew from the competition.
Speaking to Nampa on Tuesday, Once Again head coach Kamati ‘Rogeh’ Augustinus said they are confident of making it to the next round because their opponents Civics know nothing about them.
“We are ready and motivated to face Civics. They should not expect a walk in the park when they meet us on Saturday. Our goal in this competition is to eliminate any team we face because we want to go far in the championship,” he said.
Augustinus added that with his team doing so well in the first round of the KESD, his players understand what they have to do to make a name for themselves in the cup competition organised by the Namibia Football Association.
“We are not known by Civics, but we at least know who they are and how to prepare for them. It will be a good game for all the teams when we face each other but I am just warning Civics to be ready for us,” Augustinus said.
He added that they are the only club representing the Kavango East and West regions and that is why it is important for them to win and go through to the next round.
