Zimbabwean man dies in accident near Maltahohe

REHOBOTH, 15 APR (NAMPA) – A 35-year-old Zimbabwean man died in a car accident near Maltahohe in the Hardap Region on Friday.
Namibian Police Force (NamPol) Hardap regional crime investigations coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Eric Clay told Nampa on enquiry Sunday the accident occurred on the D850 gravel road between Maltahohe and Zebra Lodge, some 36 kilometres from Maltahohe.
It is suspected that the driver of the Toyota Land Cruiser, registration number CA306845 belonging to Jenman African Safaris, lost control over the vehicle and it overturned and rolled three times.
“The driver was stuck in the vehicle and succumbed to his injuries at the scene,” Clay said.
The next of kin of the deceased have not yet been informed about his death.
The cause of accident is still being investigated.
