After numerous attempts to be part of the Namibia Annual Music Awards (NAMAs), the PDK troupe has finally made it to the last draw this year scooping three nominations.
The group has been nominated for the best group of the year, best afro pop and best soukous categories.
Speaking to Vibe, troupe member Patrick said that they are excited to be part of the 2018 NAMAs and hope for nothing but the best.
“We can’t predict whether we are going to walk away with any award or not but we are obviously hoping to win but being nominated is also a blessing to us,” he said.
He further explained that the group has continued to deliver good music despite not being nominated on several occasions.
“NAMAs should not be the reason why people must do music, whether you have been nominated or not musicians should continue pushing to deliver the best music for their fans and the rest of the continent,” he noted.
He further congratulated every artist that was selected to be part of the magnificent music awards event saying that ‘winners don’t lose’’.
