Pirates get Arrows as Blue Waters face Chiefs in Debmarine Cup

WINDHOEK, 06 APR (NAMPA) – Black Africa (BA) Football Club have been drawn to face Oshana Region qualifiers Khuse in the 2018 Debmarine Namibia Cup Round of 16.
The draw was conducted in Windhoek on Thursday and was televised live.
BA knocked out defending champions Young African, while Khuse knocked out premier league outfit Tigers in the Round of 32 matches played on 24 and 25 March.
Orlando Pirates were drawn against fellow premier league side Eleven Arrows, while Young Chiefs will visit Blue Waters in the only two Premier League clashes of the round.
African Stars will take on Otjozondjupa qualifiers Dynamos.
Erongo qualifiers Swakopmund Football Club will play Tura Magic, while Golden Bees will face Khomas NamPol.
The next round will be played on the weekend of 21 to 22 April in Windhoek and Walvis Bay.
The Namibia Football Association secretariat will soon release the times for the matches at the Sam Nujoma Stadium and Kuisebmond Stadium that weekend.
The quarter-finals are expected to take place from 28 to 29 April, with semi-finals slated for 12 to 13 May and the final scheduled for 26 May 2018.
The overall winners will walk away with prize money of N.dollars 500 000, while the losing finalist receives N.dollars 250 000 and each losing semi-finalist gets N.dollars 150 000.
All individual awards will amount to N.dollars 95 000.
This is the second year of the three-year sponsorship by Debmarine Namibia who have committed N.dollars 4.7 million to the tournament annually.
