Man allegedly killed by cousin at Gochas

REHOBOTH, 25 MAR (NAMPA) – A 28-year-old man died after allegedly being stabbed with a knife by his cousin at Gochas in the Hardap Region on Saturday.
The Namibian Police Force’s crime investigations coordinator for the region, Deputy Commissioner Erich Clay confirmed the incident on Saturday and said it was reported between 17h00 and 18h00.
He said Andries Kooper was stabbed in the Hei-eib residential area.
“It is alleged that the suspect came home drunk and started arguing with the victim, who is his cousin. Kooper was stabbed in the right side of his neck,” Clay said.
The suspect was arrested and police investigations continue.
