Reho Madrid win Hardap Debmarine.

REHOBOTH, 12 MAR (NAMPA) – Reho Madrid Football Club won the Hardap Region’s Second Division Debmarine Namibia Cup elimination final 5-2 against Friends in Mariental on Sunday evening.
Herchel Mouton and Lorenzo Beukes each scored a couple of goals for Reho Madrid, with Anrich Smith adding another to lead their team to victory in the all-Rehoboth encounter.
Friends did not leave the encounter empty-handed as Innocent Beukes and former Brave Warriors player, Brian Brendell, both got on the scoresheet.
Reho Madrid coach, Malcolm van Wyk on Monday said his team was well prepared for the Debmarine matches.
“We had rigorous preparations for the games as we were involved in friendlies with tough opponents before the elimination matches. Our captain, Titus ‘Tyga’ !Auchab, led by example and pushed the boys hard,” Van Wyk noted.
Van Wyk said despite three tough games, they managed to surprise all by winning the elimination matches with his young charges.
Reho Madrid will join regional second division winners Real Fighters from ||Kharas, Swakopmund Football Club from Erongo, Swallows from Khomas, Omaheke NamPol along with the three national first division winners.
As regional winners, one of the teams will have to wait and see if they get drawn to play in another second division elimination match for the round of 32.
Only 13 second division clubs should be in the draw alongside the winners of the Southern Stream First Division, Khomas NamPol; and North-West First Division winners, Golden Bees.
