Legare Stadium to host Cattle Country Debmarine matches

REHOBOTH, 07 MAR (NAMPA) - Everything is in place for the start of the elimination round football matches of the Debmarine Namibia Cup Omaheke Cattle Country Second Division.
The regional draw took place last Wednesday, and games will be played at the Legare Stadium in Gobabis this weekend
League Administrator Hansina Nunuhes told Nampa on enquiry Wednesday teams are ready to battle it out.
“We will be using both the A and B fields for the matches and I am calling on all football lovers to come and support their teams in numbers,” Nunuhes urged.
Eleven teams are affiliated for the 2017/2018 season.
The draw sees Nosob drawn against Gobabis-based Eastern Chiefs in the first game on the A field at 08h00, with Desert Rollers facing Mathatha on the B field at the same time.
Omitara-based Tura Cosmos will do battle against Epako Pirates at 10h00 on the A field, with the two uniformed teams - Omaheke NamPol and Gobabis Prison - facing each other on the B field at 10h00.
Field B will see Tough Guys taking on Kanaan United at 12h00, before the first quarter-final when Leonardville’s Kom Haal Hulle will face the winner between Nosob and Eastern Chiefs at 17h00 on field A, followed by the second quarter-final at 19h00 on field B.
The semi-finals will start simultaneously on Sunday at 11h00 on both fields, with the final scheduled for 17h00 on field A the same day.
The games will be played on a knock-out basis.
