WINDHOEK, 26 FEB (NAMPA) - Namibia Wildlife Resorts (NWR) has warned the public to be vigilant against scammers robbing people of their money by pretending to be working for the company.
In a media release on Monday, NWR Manager for Corporate Communication and Online Media, Mufaro Nesongano, warned that such individuals are luring people to make their bookings and payments with them, purportedly to secure accommodation.
The company therefore warned its clients and the general public not to do business with these individuals, as they have no connection to the NWR whatsoever.
NWR Managing Director, Zelna Hengari, in the statement asked the company’s clients to be on the look out for the con artists.
“We would like to implore our clients to make use of our official booking channels or registered tour operators,” she said.
