According to the Global Competitiveness Report which was published by the World Economy Forum recently, Namibia still has the best quality road infrastructure in Africa.
Even though Namibia has fallen from the 23rd to the 31rd position from 137 countries in 2017/18, the report states that it still is in the top position from 10 countries in Africa.
This is something to be proud of and we hope that it will motivate Government to see our road infrastructure as a priority especially with maintenance and upgrading of existing roads.
