The most anticipated social and entertainment event in the Karas region has successfully been launched in Luderitz last Friday.

Officially launching the cup, Chief Organizer and Founder, Tim Ekandjo, explained that the 2018 event will see a total of 10 teams competing as opposed to last year’s six.

“I am pleased to announce that the 2018 edition of the Harders Cup will see two teams from Keetmanshoop and one team from Rosh Pinah join the seven teams in Luderitz to make this a truly spectacular and mouth-watering soccer tournament” said Ekandjo.

Real Fighters and Orange Rangers from Keetmanshoop and Mountain Rangers from Rosh Pinah will join Atlanta Bucs, Atlantic Stars, Diamond City, Rush Ups, Man United, Pescanova and the 2017 winner Youngsters from Luderitz to battle it out for the grand prize of N$100 000.

The runner ups will receive a cool N$50,000 while the 3rd place will walk away with N$20 000 and the Top Goal Scorer N$10 000.
