Woman raped by her domestic worker in Tsandi

WINDHOEK, 17 NOV (NAMPA) - A 52-year-old woman was raped by her domestic worker on Friday at the Iiyale village in the Tsandi Constituency.
Namibian Police Force (NamPol) Inspector Stephan Nuuyi told the media here on Sunday that the 32-year-old male suspect allegedly sneaked into his employer's sleeping room and raped her.
The suspect, believed to be an Angolan national, was arrested and is expected to appear in the Okahao Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
In an unrelated incident, a 40-year-old Chinese national was arrested on Thursday after he was found in possession of two rifles without licenses and import permits.
The arrest took place at the Omakange Old Grinaker camp in the Kunene Region.
Police investigations continue.
