WINDHOEK, 31 JAN (NAMPA) – Press Secretary in the Office of the President, Albertus Aochamub has been seconded to the Namibia Airports Company (NAC) as acting chief executive officer (CEO).
NAC Board of Directors Chairperson, Rodgers Kauta said in a media statement issued here on Wednesday the Board is currently awaiting confirmation from all key stakeholders on Aochamub’s temporary transfer to the NAC.
Aochamub will, pending confirmation, serve in the position for 12 months or until such time a substantive CEO is appointed, Kauta said.
He added that the envisaged secondment of Aochamub was necessitated by the resignation of Lot Haifidi from the position of acting CEO earlier this month.
Haifidi is the NAC Strategic Executive for Corporate Governance
The position of the CEO will be advertised in the fourth quarter of 2018, Kauta noted.
